I was getting coffee in the breakroom, like I do on a NORMAL day, okay? Three guys were huddled at a table throwing ideas around. I was pouring my coffee from the breakroom machine, and the taller of the three was saying, "hey, how come nobody ever takes me seriously around here?"
The other guy, who I know, was yammering, "yeah, nobody ever seems to take me seriously around here. I mean, all my ideas might not be good, but some of them are-."
"Exactly!" the third guy trumpeted "some of them are good, and nobody ever takes them seriously, like at face value."
"Yes!"
"You get it!"
Then the second guy, on the basis of all this excitement, calls me over as I just finished pouring myself a break room coffee, and he asks me, "hey, how come nobody ever takes us seriously around here?"
